My other Daughter was away in college she was far away and on her own also. This is one of the reasons that I made sure that both of them carried pepper spay. As a Law Enforcement Professional I taught them safety tips and told them that they should be always aware of their surroundings.  This is because predators delight at the thought of seeing a woman by herself late at night in a near empty parking lot. COLUMBIA, MD CRIME — The Howard County Police Department provided the following information. about these incidents in Columbia.  ROBBERY/ASSAULT A man was injured in a robbery, He was parked in the 8800 block of Hayshed Land in Columbia Md. Two men assaulted and robbed  him The victim was taken to Howard County General Hospital, where he was treated for his injuries. BURGLARY The 8600 block of Guilford Road in Columbia Md was burglarized . The break-in occurred through the front window.  ROBBERY A pizza deliveryman was robbed in the 6000 block of Majors Lane in Columbia Md. The suspect demanded cash and the victim's phone. The deliveryman complied and the suspect left.  ROBBERY Four people robbed a man outside a condominium complex in the 9000 block of Whiteacre Road in Columbia Md. The suspects went through the man's pockets and stole cash.  THEFT Two people were charged with theft after allegedly stealing...
